A little taste of the Falls...

Iguazu Falls...absolutely breathtaking and amazing! I have looots of stuff to do right now so I think these will be the first pictures tonight but I'll post more of my adventures in Iguazu...these pictures can't even start to do the falls justice!
This is another picture that I thought was so beautiful because of the rainbow, there are a lot of rainbows at one point in the trail because of the mist and the sun...we were sooo lucky to have a beautiful day! Apparently it rains a lot there and it has been raining lately, and we had 3 consecutive GORGEOUS days! Que lindooo!

I love the contrast in this one..the falls, the rainbow, and the darkness of the tree.

Kind of shows the massiveness..

This is called "The Devil's Throat" because at this point in the waterfall it's like a circle where all the water falls into the earth because theres a huge hole right here...don't really know how to describe it! I have a video soon to come...

This is a picture from the famous Recoleta Cemetary...I knew it was famous but WOW! This place was truly insane, this is a picture of flowers on one of the buildings but you can see the reflection of what the cemetary kind of looks like in the window. More pictures to come but my camera died and I need to get them from a friend!
I thought this was a pretty funny bat!

This bird was out of control, we seriously stood there for 20 minutes entertained by the crazy tricks he would pull on this branch...hanging by one foot, finally standing on top just to tip over and flip over the whole branch..theres a movie of that also to come.

Well, that's all for now folks! This weekend I'm going to Iguazu falls which I hear is breathtaking, so I'll have some good pictures to put up for that!

A super cool flower at the zoo.
The zoo! I didn't put many pictures and such of animals cause we've all been to zoos...but I liked this sign.

Another picture of the Estancia from the front.

At the Estancia where we sang songs while these women played the drums and guitar...it was wonderful!

Part of the Asado after it was cooked...to die for. Definitely the best meat here!

Empanadas at the Estancia..I can't believe that I haven't put a picture of these yet...I don't think I have anyway...this is like their favorite food here.

Another favorite..this is a certain type of grilling they do here called "Asado"..probably one of the only foods I would actually say is AMAZING.

Me and my horse! I forgot the name...

All of us riding in the fields

Here we have some real live gauchos..they all wear those funny hats or cowboy hat thing and those special belts where I think they get passed on from the family and added onto when they do something good..not really sure though. It's an interesting life!

Me at the Estancia, I don't remember the name but an Estancia is basically a farm where they usually raise horses and train them for various things. At this Estancia they raised the horses and trained them for playing Polo, apparently a big sport here, I guess you learn something new every day...the cool thing about this place that we got to go is that it was a small private Estancia that doesn't do commercial tours, we got to go on a tour all by ourselves and we're spoiled the whole day with tons of food, riding horses, signing songs! It really was the life...usually you get stuck at a commercial Estancia where you share the tour with other groups...but apparently Carmen has some connections!
Me with a super cute horse...a lot of the horses were skiddish but this one was so cute, he kept on trying to get closer!
The little circle thing where they train the horses.
The house of the people who live here...gorgeous and so cute.
This is the wonderful breakfast that was presented to us when we got here! And let me tell you, maybe against American standards its not much but this was amazing! Theres tons of fresh fruit in the back and as many medialunas as you could eat! (Medialunas=croissants..pretty much)
